This position is responsible for leading initiatives focused on driving Innovation & Excellence in manufacturing processes across the apparel production lifecycle of the whole group. This role involves identifying opportunities for improvement through adoption of lean systems, industrial engineering, automation, innovation, and digital transformation to enhance productivity and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
  • Streamline workflows to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive approach for process and technology innovation.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Ensure innovation efforts support business and operational needs.
  • Lead the adoption of digital tools and smart manufacturing technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate systems for real-time data tracking and analytics.
  • Manage multiple Innovation projects with defined timelines and budgets.
  • Develop detailed project plans and track progress against milestones.
  • Engage with external technology providers and research institutions, as required.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage partnerships to support innovation goals.
  • Prepare and present reports on innovation outcomes and ROI.
  • Use analytics to guide future process improvements and technology investments.

Qualifications, experience and skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Management, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in process innovation and technology integration within the apparel industry.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, digital transformation, and automation systems.
  • Proven track record of leading successful innovation projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and relevant project management software.
