Role Description

This internship role as a Sourcing Assistant is a hybrid position, based in Dhaka with opportunities for remote work. The role involves assisting in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, managing daily communications with vendors, and supporting procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials. The intern will also help in negotiating terms, maintaining supplier databases, and ensuring compliance with company sourcing policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Supplier Communication and Relationship Management
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Sourcing Processes
  • High Level of Accuracy in handling purchasing documentation and supplier data
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools; knowledge of procurement systems is a plus
  • Basic understanding of logistics, inventory, and supply chain operations
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to efficient sourcing strategies
