Job Description / Responsibility

Job context :

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support the Accounts & Finance department. The candidate should have practical knowledge in accounting, VAT & Tax, and factory accounts, and be capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

The Accounts & Finance Executive will be responsible and accountable for managing all assigned accounting and financial activities of the role.

  • Prepare and maintain vouchers, cash book, bank book, bill register, VAT challan, general ledger, and other relevant accounts registers
  • Handle petty cash management and daily transaction postings
  • Assist in accounts payable & receivable, vendor reconciliation, and payment processing
  • Prepare receipt & payment accounts
  • Maintain general accounting records for the corporate office
  • Prepare monthly office expense summaries, cost reports, and financial statements
  • Perform bank reconciliation and analyze bank statements
  • Coordinate with business partners to reconcile accounts regularly and ensure timely collection of required financial statements and supporting documents
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all VAT-related books of accounts and records, including Mushak-6.1, Mushak-6.9, etc.
  • Monitor receivables and payables regularly
  • Support month-end closing and reporting to management
  • Verify bills and analyze the nature of expenses to ensure operational efficiency
  • Support internal and external audits and maintain proper documentation
  • Coordinate with production, store, procurement, and sales departments for smooth financial operations
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management as required

Working Hour:
10 PM – 8 PM

Weekly Holiday:
Friday

What You Will Learn / Skills You Will Gain:

  • Practical exposure to corporate accounting and day-to-day financial operations
  • Hands-on experience in VAT & Tax compliance
  • Understanding of factory accounts, product costing, and inventory managemen
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and bank reconciliation
  • Cross-functional coordination skills with production, procurement, store, and sales teams
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting / Finance
  • Skills Required: Accounting, Accounts and Finance, Warehouse Inventory Management

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Manufacturing (FMCG),Food (Packaged)/Beverage

Additional Requirements

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with all types of people.
  • Problem solving capability with tough attitude.
