Executive/ Senior Executive (Accounts & Finance)

Key Points

Manages financial operations, ensuring accurate recording and reporting, handling tax/VAT compliance, reconciling accounts, assisting with budgeting, and supporting audits, all while driving revenue through client management, strategic account planning, and identifying growth opportunities, requiring strong analytical, financial, and client-facing skills.

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Process and disburse all types of bills, including TA/DA, salaries, and employee bonuses.
  • Assist with tax audits, tax returns, and the annual budget.
  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing accounting information.
  • Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing trial balances, and reconciling entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, factory visits, and inventory counting.
  • Collect and update records of annual subscriptions paid by members.
  • maintain petty cash and day-to-day transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports as required and submit them to the Executive Council within the stipulated time.
  • Maintain the entire accounting system as well as accounting software.
  • Voucher entry, bank reconciliation
  • Payroll and audit support
  • Handling VAT, Tax & compliance documents
  • ERP/Tally system knowledge preferred
  • Undertake any additional tasks assigned by management
  • Manage data in Excel and prepare required reports
  • Assist in the Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Prepare & Manage Suppliers TDS Challans & Records.
  • Prepare annual statutory financial reports and assist in conducting external audit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong knowledge of Reporting & Taxation.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Cost & Management Accounting
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System
  • [IBA, Dhaka University ]students will get preference
  • Skills Required: Relationship Management/ Key Account Management, Accounting Data Entry, Accounts and Finance, Key Account Management, Accounts and audit
