Job Description

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and weekly rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals, KPIs, and timelines.

  • Coordinate the end-to-end budgeting process, consolidating CAPEX, OPEX, and departmental inputs to present a comprehensive business plan.

  • Analyze and validate budget assumptions, financial data, and KPIs to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business opportunities, projects, and major investments, including ROI and risk assessment.

  • Support financial statement analysis to identify cost and revenue trends, highlighting anomalies and providing recommendations to management.

  • Prepare and deliver periodic financial performance reports to top management, shareholders, and HQ, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.

  • Collaborate with external reporting teams to implement financial reporting processes that meet HQ and local team requirements.

  • Monitor and benchmark company performance against industry standards and competitors, identifying improvement areas and opportunities.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate insights into operational and financial performance for strategic decision-making.

  • Provide support for strategic initiatives, such as acquisitions, asset sales, and carve-outs, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational goals.

Academic Qualification

  • BBA/Masters / MBA from a reputed institute. Professional Accounting / Finance Certification (ACCA/ACA/ACMA) will be an added advantage

Job Experience Required

  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of total experience with at least two years in Business Planning and reporting

Required Capabilities

  • Strong Knowledge on Business Strategy formulation

  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong knowledge of Reporting Technology

  • Strong familiarity with Risk Management

  • Through understanding of Budgeting and Planning processes and procedures 

  • Basic knowledge in Accounting and Compliance standards

  • Good IAS/IFRS knowledge

  • Basic understanding of Banking and Treasury practices

  • Good industry knowledge & market dynamics

  • Good knowledge of financial modeling & techniques
