We're building advanced Shopify apps and are looking for a
Senior Backend Engineer
to lead our backend systems—
database design, job management, server infrastructure, and SaaS architecture
.


What You'll Do

  • Design and optimize scalable relational databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Build job queues and background task systems (e.g., BullMQ)
  • Manage servers, Docker setups, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Architect secure, multi-tenant SaaS systems (auth, billing, roles)
  • Integrate deeply with Shopify APIs and webhooks


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of backend or backend-heavy full-stack experience
  • Strong in , Prisma/ORMs, and background job libraries
  • Hands-on Shopify app development experience
  • Comfortable with cloud platforms like AWS, , or Vercel
  • Knows how to build and scale SaaS apps from scratch
