About the Role

America Tech Inc. is hiring a Senior Data Architect / Data Scientist
to join our offshore development team in Bangladesh.

This is a full-time position focused on designing, building, and optimizing modern data solutions using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, Power BI, PySpark, Python, SQL, and Machine Learning.

You will work closely with our US-based engineering and analytics teams to build scalable, high-performance data platforms and analytical models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage data architectures using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Synapse, Data Factory, Dataflows).

• Develop and optimize data pipelines using PySpark, Python, and SQL.

• Build and maintain Power BI models and dashboards, including DAX optimization and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with business teams to translate analytical requirements into data models and insights.

• Architect and manage machine-learning workflows, including training, deployment, and monitoring.

• Define and implement data governance, lineage, and security standards.

• Contribute to modernization of ETL and lakehouse architectures within Microsoft Azure.

• Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation.

• Mentor and guide junior data engineers as the team grows.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data science.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Synapse, Data Factory, and Dataflows.

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and large-scale data modeling.

• Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL for data transformation and analytics.

• Experience designing and deploying machine-learning pipelines.

• Familiarity with Azure Databricks, ML Studio, and Purview is a plus.

• Knowledge of data-warehousing concepts, medallion architecture, and lakehouse design.

• Experience using CI/CD pipelines for data and BI solutions (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

• Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and governance best practices.

• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).

• Comfortable collaborating with US-based teams across time zones.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

• Microsoft / Azure certifications (e.g., Fabric Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer Associate) are preferred.

Work Conditions

Office Schedule:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Bangladesh Standard Time), Sunday to Thursday

Weekly Off:
Friday & Saturday

Dhaka office / Remote (with reliable internet connection)

Compensation:
Gross Salary Range — BDT 1,00,000 to BDT 1,15,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and certifications)
