Job Context

Are you passionate about guiding students toward life-changing academic opportunities abroad? This is an exciting opportunity to join Sunway Admission, one of the leading education consultancy firms, as a Senior Counsellor.

You will play a key role in converting student inquiries into successful applications and enrolments, engaging directly with students and international partner universities. This role is perfect for a driven and enthusiastic professional with excellent communication and consultative sales skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students interested in studying in the USA, Australia, Canada & New Zealand, assessing academic profiles and financial suitability.
  • Manage and convert leads through calls, emails, texts, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Attend and follow up on student leads generated from events.
  • Process and manage applications to partner universities.
  • Maintain regular communication with students and partner institutions.
  • Travel abroad for education fairs and recruitment trips.
  • Forecast and report on your student portfolio through CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with visa & compliance teams to ensure ethical conversion.
  • Meet and exceed application and enrollment targets through effective conversion techniques.
  • Stay up to date with admissions policies, entry requirements, and visa guidelines (training provided).
  • Promote a supportive and respectful environment for students of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in any discipline (preferred)
  • Graduates from the UK/USA/Canada/Australia will have an advantage
  • English Medium Students will have an advantage as well

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience (1+ years in relevant fields preferred)

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Presentation, sales, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (preferred)
  • Teamwork and multitasking ability
  • Understanding of multicultural environments
