About the Project:

ReWET is a pioneering initiative focused on reversing environmental degradation in urban wetlands and lakes through the stewardship of climate-impacted dwellers. It integrates agroecology, community-led restoration, and nature-based remediation, aiming to create resilient, green, and inclusive urban ecosystems.

Role Overview:

We're looking for a passionate and proactive Multimedia Officer to support documentation, community outreach, and digital communication for the ReWET project.

Key Responsibilities:


• Document field events and project activities through photography and video


• Manage social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube)


• Maintain and update the project website


• Assist in community engagement and project outreach activities


• Regular field visits to project sites

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:


• Graduates in mass communication & journalism, marketing, IT, or relevant fields.

However, we welcome all passionate individuals regardless of academic background.


• Experience in photography, cinematography, drone operating, and editing


• Familiarity with social media management and website maintenance


• Strong storytelling and community engagement skills


• Candidates with prior experience in similar roles will be given preference.

Eligibility:

Applicants from any academic background are welcome if they have hands-on experience and knowledge of photos, videos, documentation, social media, website management, and community engagement.

N/B: Submission of a portfolio is mandatory. Applications without a portfolio will not be shortlisted for further evaluation
