Role Description:

We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
to support our organization in maintaining a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment. The EHS Specialist will be responsible for implementing health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and fostering a safety-first culture across the company.

This role is ideal for candidates with academic or hands-on experience in occupational health, environmental compliance, or industrial safety. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, facilities, human resources, and external agencies to ensure workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct routine workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead or support incident investigations and root cause analyses; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate employee training programs on safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and environmental awareness.
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation, including reports, permits, MSDS, and incident records.
  • Monitor and report on EHS metrics, compliance status, and improvement initiatives to management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, ISO
  • Collaborate with external auditors, inspectors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an EHS role within manufacturing, logistics, construction, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of relevant EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train and engage staff at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EHS management systems or audit tools.
