Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, for a Book Designer. The Book Designer will be responsible for creating compelling book interior designs, crafting visually appealing cover artwork, and performing typesetting to meet publishing standards. The role includes working with typography and leveraging graphic design tools to develop engaging and professional book aesthetics. Attention to detail and creativity are key components of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Book Design and Cover Art creation
  • Strong skills in Typesetting and Typography
  • Experience with Graphics and visual design tools
  • Strong creative and artistic abilities with a focus on detail
  • Familiarity with the publishing industry or book production processes is a plus
  • Proficient in utilizing design software and tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred
