Transmission Planning Engineer

Key responsibilities:

  1. Lead and work with highly technical transmission team to design and service plan delivery as per business client demand.
  2. Microwave Backhaul design (Link Plan, NMS & services) through different topologies, Rings using Diversity, Protected Paths, ducting and multipath fading of critical Fresnel zone
  3. Experience on Switching & Routing Protocols design and configuration in IP/ MPLS network
  4. Identify improvement scopes at E2E transport path based on quality, performance and resource utilization perspectives.
  5. Analyze network performance, ensure ongoing support for solution deployment, and participate in technical discussion as per stakeholders' demands.
  6. Solution design of peripheral node integration / new solution for IP Backhaul network.
  7. Hands on experience on Huawei, NEC, ZTE TX products line.
  8. Introduce RPA, automation & red way of work to bringing efficiency at TX Network.
  9. Team player, result oriented, customer centric mindset & ability to work in a collaborative approach with stakeholder's and internal functions.

Position qualification:

  1. Bachelor's degree in EEE , ECE , Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

  2. At least 5 years' experience in Transmission Network Domain.
