About Us

ADEVS is a fast-growing software company delivering world-class web and mobile applications. We're expanding our in-house product team and are looking for a talented Kotlin Developer to join our Narayanganj office.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Kotlin Developer with 2–4 years of experience to build and maintain our POS and Android applications. You will write clean, scalable code, integrate with backend APIs, and ensure high-performance, reliable apps while collaborating with the backend and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain features in Kotlin-based POS and Android applications.
  • Collaborate with backend teams, QA, and product managers to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Kotlin code following best practices.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, databases, and third-party services.
  • Work with Android components, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Ensure security, stability, and smooth synchronization with backend systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in Kotlin or Android development.
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Android lifecycle management.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries such as Retrofit, Glide, and Coroutines.
  • Hands-on experience with Room, SQLite, or offline data handling.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of clean architecture, modular code structure, and app security.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CSE, EEE, IT, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience developing POS, SaaS, or API-heavy mobile applications is an advantage.
  • Prior app deployment experience on Google Play Store is a plus.
