SahajMobile is a growing fintech-led mobile retail platform, enabling everyday Bangladeshis to buy smartphones on Cardless EMI—without the need for a credit card. Role Overview

We are looking for Android Developers to deliver a world-class mobile experience. You will work with founders and engineering teams to design, build, and improve features that engage users and scale our business.

Positions:

  • Backend-focused:
    Low-level Android APIs, device management, payment integration
  • UI-focused:
    Consumer features, modern UI, in-app chat support

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain high-quality Android features
  • Translate designs into efficient code
  • Debug and resolve issues quickly
  • Use data to guide product improvements
  • Collaborate across teams for impactful delivery
  • Assist with backend system integration and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement new features and system improvements
  • Manage databases, ensure data security, and perform regular backups
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure system performance, availability, and scalability
  • Document technical processes and provide user support when required

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor/Honors

  • Bachelor from a top university or equivalent experience

  • Skills Required: SQLite, Java, REST API, Firebase, Payment Gateway, Kotlin

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Micro-Credit

Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
  • 3+ years in Android development at a top startup or multinational
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK
  • Strong knowledge of UI design, memory/thread management, networking
  • Experience across multiple Android versions and device types
