Role Overview:

  • The Product Security Engineers will join the security products team at BMQAS and be responsible for building and ensuring the security of core components in a threat intelligence platform.
  • This role will translate the research and findings from our Analyst team into robust, scalable, and secure software product features.
  • The engineer will ensure that the platform is developed using best practices in software security and is optimized for performance and reliability.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, with a focus on security-related products.
  • Familiarity with secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) principles, especially DevSecOps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Experience in security best practices and different security products. Security certification is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, ).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data analytics frameworks will be useful.

Responsibilities:

  • Platform Development: Design, build, and maintain a cloud-based threat intelligence platform, including the backend services and data pipelines.
  • Run regular VAPT testing and product feature security testing to ensure high quality products
  • Security Architecture: Collaborate with the team to design a secure architecture for the platform, incorporating data encryption, access controls, and other security measures.
  • Data Analytics: Assist in implementation of machine learning algorithms and data processing pipelines to analyze large datasets of malware and threat intelligence.
  • API Development: Create and maintain APIs for seamless integration with external security tools and client-side applications.
  • Code Review: Conduct code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to secure coding standards.
  • Deployment: Manage the deployment and maintenance of the platform on a cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
