The
Lead Generation Intern
will support the Sales & Marketing team by assisting in identifying potential clients, researching markets, and executing targeted outreach initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in B2B lead generation, digital campaigns, and CRM management, offering exposure to real-world sales processes and growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Research & Prospecting:
Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through online research, LinkedIn, and digital platforms. - Outreach Support:
Draft and send outreach emails/messages under supervision, and engage with prospects via LinkedIn and other platforms. - CRM & Database Management:
Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate lead and engagement data. - Market Research:
Support research on industry trends, potential clients, and competitive activities. - Campaign Assistance:
Help design and execute email campaigns, social media promotions, and digital initiatives. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth lead follow-up. - Reporting:
Track basic KPIs (leads generated, response rates, engagement) and prepare simple reports. - Content Support:
Assist in creating outreach content (emails, LinkedIn posts, landing page copy, etc.). - Learning & Development:
Stay updated on the latest lead generation tools, digital marketing practices, and sales technologies.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of lead generation or digital marketing.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Sendinblue, etc.) preferred.
- Good research skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and practices.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (completed) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior internship or project experience in sales/marketing is a plus but not mandatory.
