Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, maintaining financial records and accounting systems, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Junior Accountant will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.

Qualifications

  • Basic to advanced knowledge in accounting principles and practices
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and financial record management
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus
  • Experience in the banking or financial industry is a plus
