Associate Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to drive business process automation, data visualization, and application development. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards.
• Automation: Build and optimize workflows and business processes using Power Automate to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Data Visualization: Create interactive and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
• Integration: Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (e.g., MS Dynamics 365, SharePoint, MS Office 365) and third-party systems using connectors, or custom integrations.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Testing and Deployment: Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solutions are deployed with high quality and minimal disruption.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective adoption of Power Platform solutions.
• Governance and Best Practices: Adhere to compliance, governance policies, security standards, and best practices to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Power Platform advancements and propose enhancements to existing solutions to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• 1+ years of Applied Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform Services: In-depth understanding of its capabilities, boundaries, and constraints.
• Hands-on experience with software requirement management and stakeholder delivery management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience
• Certification or coursework in Agile Project Management or Scrum is a plus
