X Index Energy Ltd. (XIEL), a concern of X Index Companies, began operations in 2016 to make a significant impact in the power and energy sector in Bangladesh. The company has successfully established three power plants under Independent Power Producer (IPP) agreements with the BPDB and the Government of Bangladesh.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Manager located in Narayanganj District. The Maintenance Manager will oversee and coordinate the maintenance activities of the power plants. Duties include planning and scheduling maintenance tasks, supervising maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing budgets, and maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance skills
  • Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and supervision
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
  • Proficient in maintenance management software and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
  • Experience in the power or energy sector is a plus
