About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Data Engineer to join our consulting team. This is a crucial role focused on building and maintaining robust data architecture for our diverse clients. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines from a wide range of operational databases, particularly those in cloud environments like Oracle, BigQuery, or other similar platforms. While you will also assist with dashboard development, your main contribution will be to ensure our team has a solid, reliable data foundation for all our analytics and business intelligence projects.

Key Responsibilities

·      Design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines from various data sources.

·      Expertly connect and integrate with different database technologies beyond SQL Server, including cloud-based databases.

·      Transform and load data efficiently, ensuring data quality and integrity across all projects.

·      Collaborate closely with our team of Data Analysts and BI Specialists to meet their data requirements.

·      Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.

·      Contribute to the development of business intelligence dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Qualifications & Skills

·      A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a Data Engineer or similar role.

·      Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines.

·      Strong proficiency in ETL for various databases, with a proven ability to work with non-SQL Server data sources, including cloud platforms.

·      Proficiency in SQL and a deep understanding of data modeling principles.

·      Experience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or other similar platforms.

·      Familiarity with a scripting language like Python for data manipulation and automation is highly desirable.

·      Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
