About The Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Billing System Implementation and Management Specialist who will be instrumental in the successful deployment, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of our billing systems. This pivotal role will ensure that their financial operations are supported by a robust, scalable, and efficient billing infrastructure, directly contributing to financial accuracy, client satisfaction, and their cost-effective approach to support and development services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of new billing platforms and modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing ERP and financial systems.
• Manage the full lifecycle of billing system projects, from requirements gathering and vendor selection to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for billing system processes, configurations, and user guides.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Operations, IT) to define billing requirements, translate them into system specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Optimize current billing processes through system enhancements, automation, and best practices to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide ongoing system administration and support, including user management, troubleshooting, data integrity checks, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee data migration activities during system transitions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on new billing system functionalities and best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and new features in billing technology, recommending upgrades and improvements as appropriate.
• Support month-end and quarter-end financial close processes by ensuring billing system data accuracy and readiness for reporting.
• Assist with financial reporting, providing insights and summaries related to billing system performance and data.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and managing billing or financial systems; prior experience in the software or creative services industry is a significant plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven proficiency with major billing platforms (e.g., Zuora, Salesforce Billing, SAP BRIM, Oracle Financials, QuickBooks Enterprise with advanced billing features, NetSuite, Sage). Experience with Zuora is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of ERP/billing system architecture, integration points, and general ledger integration.
• In-depth knowledge of service-based billing models (hourly rates, fixed-price contracts, retainers, usage-based services) and how they translate into system configurations.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a preventative approach to accuracy and a strong ability to detect and resolve system discrepancies.
• Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data validation and reporting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication: confident in cross-functional collaboration and explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in process optimization and automation through technology.
• Experience working alongside global teams or servicing international clients is preferred.
• SaaS experience is preferred.

• Hybrid (can be remote as well) in Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka | Full-time
• Salary: USD 2,00 - 3,000
