Assistant/Deputy Manager-Business Expansion

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Develop and implement the strategic expansion plan for new retail markets and cities
  • Conduct thorough market research and feasibility studies to identify high-potential locations
  • Identify, evaluate, appoint, and manage the right distribution partners in new and existing markets
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy
  • Manage distributor KPIs, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and provide regular performance reviews
  • Drive growth across
    General Trade
    (local shops) and
    Modern Trade
    (supermarkets, chain stores) channels
  • Identify and secure prime retail locations, including negotiating lease terms and contracts with landlords and mall developers
  • Ensure effective in-store visibility and planogram execution in priority outlets
  • Achieve
    CANN
    (Consumer Acquisition Net New) and
    ROP
    (Rate of Productivity) growth targets for the assigned area
  • Ensure effective in-store visibility and planogram execution in priority outlets
  • collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure aligned execution of expansion

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA), Marketing, or a related field is required, with a Master's (MBA) often preferred for such strategic roles
  • Skills Required: Retail Management, Franchise Operations

Experience Requirements

  • 4 to 8 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
