Job Description / Responsibility

RHSTEP, a pioneer non-government organization with over three decades of experience in promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Bangladesh, is launching the project "Unlocking Youth Potential for SRHR and Health System Reform in Bangladesh" to address critical gaps in adolescent health, SRHR, and health system equity. With operations in 20 districts and annual service provision to approximately 650,000 individuals through 27 centers, RHSTEP remains at the forefront of delivering essential SRHR services, education, and awareness.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a creative and dynamic
Senior Program Officer – Digital & Content (SPO-2)
to join our team. This role is at the exciting intersection of program implementation and digital innovation. You will be responsible for driving our digital engagement strategy, creating compelling multimedia content, and ensuring our programs resonate deeply with young audiences. If you are passionate about storytelling, youth culture, and using digital tools for social good, this is the role for you.

Job Responsibilities:

Program Implementation Support:

• Support the day-to-day coordination and smooth execution of program activities, including fieldwork, workshops, and events.
• Liaise with field staff, partners, and youth volunteers to ensure operational plans are implemented effectively.

Digital Content & Campaign Development:

• Assist in designing and executing innovative, youth-friendly digital campaigns and social media activities that align with program goals.
• Lead the coordination of multimedia content development (graphics, videos, blogs, podcasts) for campaigns, workshops, and events.
• Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic digital outreach.

Youth Engagement & Monitoring:

• Actively monitor and analyze youth participation and engagement metrics across digital platforms (e.g., social media insights, website analytics, campaign performance).
• Propose and implement strategies to increase online interaction, feedback, and community building among target youth audiences.

Documentation & Storytelling:

• Capture program impact through high-quality documentation, including case studies, success stories, photos, and video testimonials.
• Transform project data and field experiences into compelling narratives for reports, donor communication, and public awareness.
• Maintain a systematic digital archive of all program content and documentation.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
• Skills Required: Social Media Management, Program Organizer, Digital Content Development, Storytelling, Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics plat, proficient in social media marketing tools and analytics platforms

Experience Requirements

• At least 4 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop), Canva, or other design/video editing tools.
• Experience in organizing or supporting youth-focused events or workshops.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
• Understanding of issues related to youth development, gender equality, and social inclusion.
