Job Overview
We are seeking a
Product Manager
to own product roadmaps, manage the full lifecycle from ideation to launch, and ensure customer needs drive every decision. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to deliver impactful products.

The ideal candidate has
3–5 years of product management experience
, strong business and technical acumen, is highly data-driven, and thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Experience in
fintech, SaaS, or marketplace products
is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Fintech Product Strategy & Roadmap

○ Define and own the roadmap for financial products, including credit solutions, BNPL models, digital payments, and embedded finance.

○ Collaborate with banks, fintech partners, and internal finance teams to design scalable financial journeys.

○ Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards (KYC, AML, data privacy).

• AI & Data-Driven Product Development

○ Leverage AI/ML models for credit scoring, fraud detection, predictive analytics, and personalized recommendations.

○ Drive the use of AI-powered chatbots/assistants for customer engagement, onboarding, and support.

○ Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI models into core product features.

• Payments & Transaction Systems

○ Oversee development of payment gateways, closed-loop wallets, transaction APIs, and settlement systems.

○ Optimize financial flows for collections, disbursements, and reconciliation across multiple channels (bank, MFS, POS, app).

Build partnerships with fintechs for faster, cheaper, and more secure transactions.

• Product Lifecycle Management

○ Lead ideation, PRD writing, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization with engineering teams.

○ Oversee product testing and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable deployments.

○ Continuously optimize based on customer behavior, analytics, and market trends.

• Customer Discovery & User Research

○ Conduct interviews with retailers, farmers, and partners to identify fintech needs and validate financial product-market fit.

○ Use behavioral analytics to improve repayment journeys, adoption of digital payments, and engagement with AI-driven features.

○ Ensure products deliver financial inclusion and accessibility in rural/agri ecosystems.

• Cross-Functional Leadership

○ Align with engineering, data science, risk, and compliance teams to deliver innovative fintech products.

○ Work closely with marketing and growth teams to design adoption campaigns for credit, wallet, and AI-based tools.

○ Train internal stakeholders and external partners on new product capabilities.

• Performance Monitoring & Growth

○ Define KPIs such as credit repayment rates, transaction volumes, wallet adoption, AI-driven feature usage.

○ Run A/B tests and growth experiments to maximize adoption of fintech services.

○ Continuously benchmark against local and global fintech leaders.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven Expertise: 3–5 years of progressive experience in product management, ideally within a startup or a high-growth environment.
• Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to drive strategic product decisions that create business value.
• Technical Acumen: Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and proficiency with product development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Slack. A solid understanding of software architecture and technology stacks is highly desirable.
• Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present product strategies and updates to diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
• Data-Driven: Advanced proficiency with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Metabase, Looker, Clarity) to define metrics, analyze product performance, and inform decision-making.
• Customer Obsessed: A deep sense of empathy and a relentless dedication to enhancing user experiences and solving customer problems.
• Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and pivot quickly in response to changing market conditions and priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Fintech and financial applications, marketplace, or SaaS products.
• Familiarity with startup ecosystems and successfully scaling products from idea to execution.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, growth hacking strategies, and user segmentation.
