Head of Sales
. This is a pivotal role for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry who is ready to build and drive a top-tier nationwide sales force.

The Opportunity: Head of Sales

As the Head of Sales, you will be instrumental in shaping our market presence and driving significant growth. Your primary focus will be on establishing a highly efficient, nationwide team of Medical Representatives and Area Managers who will strategically engage with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to promote our portfolio and maximize prescription generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nationwide Team Building & Management:
    Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team across the entire nation, establishing clear sales territories and performance metrics.
  • Strategic Sales Planning:
    Develop and execute comprehensive national sales strategies, goals, and targets that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • HCP Engagement & Prescription Generation:
    Design and oversee effective sales techniques and strategies to ensure optimal penetration into the healthcare community and drive consistent

  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    Analyze sales data, market trends, and team performance to provide accurate forecasts and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Budget Management:
    Manage the national sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation for maximum return on investment.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    A Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of
    15+ years of progressive experience
    in pharmaceutical sales, with at least
    5 years in a senior leadership role
    (e.g., National Sales Manager, Head of Sales).
  • Industry Expertise:
    Must have extensive, proven experience in a
    leading Pharmaceuticals company
    within the country.
  • Leadership Acumen:
    Demonstrated ability to successfully build, scale, and lead large, dispersed sales teams.
  • Market Knowledge:
    Deep understanding of the local healthcare landscape, distribution channels, and effective strategies for engaging with HCPs.
  • Skills:
    Exceptional communication, negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
