Key Responsibilities

•Manage all types of fabric development to get in-line with brand aesthetic and innovation goals, cost & quality; responsible for potential fabric quality issues/risk and required to deliver manufacturing ready products for the brands.

• Collaborate with Senior Sourcing Manager, Fabric Manager, fabric team in SF.

• Support develop at source activities to ensure fabric is reproducible in bulk risk free.

• Work with mill & counterpart to provide standards / processes / risk analyze for new fabric development and share with garment team and garment vendors.

• Fabric grids are updated accurately with all appropriate info for workshop, customer samples (mill, cost, lead time, specification, code).

• Production fabrics follow ups.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Textiles/Engineering, MBA will have an additional advantage.

• 3 to 5 years of denim & non-denim fabric development experience in a manufacturing facility / Buying house / Brand liaison office.
