TaskCall is a real-time incident response and management system for IT and DevOps. It automates the response process of incidents and minimizes the time to resolution. The application is offered in two languages – English and Spanish. It is used in 61 countries. The vast majority of our clients come from one of these 5 categories – retail and online, financial services, industries, health care and government.

You will not be maintaining existing systems and processes, but rather actively developing and implementing new systems and strategies. You will be taking ownership of the work you do. Why do we want you?

Our organic and paid client acquisitions are not performing as well as we think they could. We would love someone who can help us with our SEO and marketing efforts to join the team. Our objectives are to:

1. Increase organic sales by improving organic web traffic and search ranking for both indexed searches and AI searches
2. Improve user engagement time on our site
3. Increase realized conversions from paid search campaigns
4. Improve user experience and site reputation
5. Achieve our long term growth targets

Responsibilities

SEO

• Identify shortfalls and implement changes to optimize web search performance
• Continually perform keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links
• Conceptualize and execute link building strategies
• Create content for technical audience including articles, blogs and reports to drive SEO
• Build and manage a team of external content contributors aligned with SEO objectives
• Ensure newly developed code meets SEO best practices by working with the development team
• Search for opportunities to optimize website architecture, content, linking and other factors in the interest of improving SEO positions for target keywords

Marketing

• Optimize landing pages for search engine marketing
• Assist in marketing efforts to align with SEO objectives
• Execute tests٫ collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
• Track, report and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns

Requirements

• Proven SEO and SEM experience
• In-depth experience with SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, Google Analytics and others)
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
• Experience in B2B SaaS SEO and marketing
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of their role

Compensation

• A monthly salary in the range of Tk 35,000 - Tk 40,000
• Each team member is eligible for a performance based bonus at year end. Bonuses are determined on how well target objectives are met and render results. They are calculated as a percentage of annual income.

Things to consider

TaskCall was founded in 2020 in Spain. The first version of the application was launched in 2021. In 2023 a second entity was registered in the US. The work culture is pre-dominantly American. The firm's language of communication is English.

You will be working together with other team members in Bangladesh in a co-working space located in Banani, Dhaka, but will be reporting directly to the CEO, who is based in Spain.

Although your work week will adhere to the standards of Bangladesh (Sunday - Thursday) and you will be eligible for all public holidays in the country, you may need to be available in some capacity for urgent matters at times outside of the regular schedule since we cater to a global clientele. The same level of cooperation will be expected during vacations.

You will be hired as a consultant due to your location in a non-jurisdiction territory, but this will in no way impact your employment tenure with us.
