Job Title: Logistics Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced logistics support specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing transportation services, including driving authorized personnel and delivering various items/commodities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe driving and experience working in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide transportation services for authorized personnel and deliver various items/commodities
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and fuel consumption
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean and in good condition
  • Perform basic office-related tasks as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary school education and formal driver's training with a valid driver's license/certification
  • At least two years of work experience as a driver, preferably in an international organization or UN system
  • Knowledge of local roads/waterways and conditions, as well as security issues
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Basic first aid skills and knowledge of safety standards and equipment
