Senior Economist

We are seeking a skilled Programme Policy Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with expertise in social protection, cost-benefit analysis, and research.

The incumbent will provide technical inputs in developing the research context, areas to address, operational issues, and opportunities. They will also conduct literature reviews, design qualitative research frameworks, lead data collection and analysis, and support policy advocacy efforts.

• Education: Advanced university degree in economics, statistics, development studies or other relevant fields.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of work experience in econometric analysis, research, and clear understanding on social protection, cost-benefit analysis and inaction studies.
• Language: Fluency in spoken and written English and Bangla language.
