Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Manage overall
    Financial Management & Control
    , ensuring accurate accounting and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare and monitor
    budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures
    ; analyze variances and improve efficiency
  • Prepare periodic
    financial statements, MIS reports, and dashboards
    to support management decision-making
  • Ensure timely and accurate
    VAT, TAX, and statutory compliance
    in accordance with Bangladesh laws
  • Handle
    banking, treasury, cash flow, and fund management
    , including liaison with banks and financial institutions
  • Develop, update, and enforce
    financial policies, SOPs, internal controls, and governance frameworks
  • Lead and supervise the
    Accounts & Finance team
    , ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical practices
  • Oversee
    foreign purchase and import-related accounting
    , including LC documentation and landed cost calculation

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • CA (Course Completed) / CMA (Partially Qualified) candidates will get preference
  • Skills Required: Export/ Import through L/C, VAT and Tax, Microsoft Office, Tally Prime

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Wholesale,Retail Store,Advertising Agency,Trading or Export/Import,Direct Selling/Marketing Service Company,Importer

Additional Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime (mandatory)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software / ERP systems
  • Sound knowledge of VAT & TAX laws and compliance procedures
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Practical knowledge of Foreign Purchase, Import Accounting, and LC procedures will be an advantage
