Role Description

· Test engineers are in charge of creating production ready test solutions for wide range of semiconductor devices using Advantest V93000 ATE;

· Carefully study IC datasheet and technical documentation to scope out testing parameters and boundaries;

· Develop detailed test plan and testing strategies according to customer requirements;

· Communicate with the team about the proposed test plan and take feedback from the customer and make updates based on the feedback;

· Test development will include test planning, test hardware development, test software development, test solution debug and test solution offload for production run;

Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities in test strategy and test coverage to reduce test time and increase yield during production.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in EEE, EE, Applied Physics.

Additional Requirements

  • Good knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming;
  • Sound understanding of digital and analog circuit design;
  • Knowledge of different protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART and JTAG is a plus;
  • Basic understanding of digital signal processing and filter design;
  • Circuit design skill using any EDA tool (e.g. Kicad) is preferable;
  • Experience with writing firmware for embedded systems is a plus;
  • This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical ability;
  • Excellent communication skill in English;
  • Ability to take challenge;
  • Creative in mind and strong for innovation;
  • Positive and proactive;
  • Strong willingness to develop skills & knowledge.
