Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Python Developer
to join our core Software Engineering team in
Dhaka
. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate developer to gain significant hands-on experience in
back-end web development
, adhering to best practices in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The successful candidate will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Development:
    Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented
    Python
    code for critical back-end application logic.
  • Web Services:
    Design, implement, and maintain robust
    RESTful APIs
    and services, ensuring seamless integration with front-end systems.
  • Engineering Principles:
    Apply strong
    Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
    principles and software design patterns to ensure modular and maintainable system architecture.
  • Data Management:
    Interact with and manage relational and/or NoSQL
    databases
    (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), focusing on data integrity and query optimization.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Develop and execute comprehensive
    unit and integration tests
    and actively participate in code reviews to ensure high application quality.
  • Collaboration:
    Work effectively within an
    Agile
    or Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and continuous delivery.
  • Problem Resolution:
    Proactively diagnose, debug, and resolve technical issues and production bugs promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Skills

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Demonstrable proficiency in
    Python
    and fundamental knowledge of
    Back-End Web Development
    .
  • Programming Fundamentals:
    Strong understanding of
    Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
    concepts and practical application.
  • Database Knowledge:
    Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and basic proficiency in query writing.
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.

Highly Desirable (Bonus)

  • Practical experience with one or more Python web frameworks, such as
    Django or Flask
    .
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially
    Git
    .

Compensation & Workplace

  • Salary:
    We offer a competitive starting monthly salary ranging from
    BDT 7,000 to BDT 15,000
    , commensurate with the candidate's relevant experience, technical proficiency, and domain knowledge.
