Role Description

The Lead Android Developer is a full-time, on-site role located in Khulna. The role involves leading the Android development team, designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features, and ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. The Lead Android Developer will also be responsible for identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin
  • Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
  • Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch"
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  • Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage projects independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in leading a team is a plus
