Louietex is one of the leading Garment manufactures with Design and production house based in Bangladesh. Founded in 2013 and working with European high-end fast-moving fashion brands.

We are on the lookout for dynamic and energetic individuals to join the Louietex Design team as Fashion Designer. The ideal candidates will gain a wholesome experience in Design and be provided an opportunity to learn from a highly competent and efficient team where peers and senior leaders will help develop your skills and competencies.

Role Description

  • Assist the Head of Design in day-to-day functions to produce latest fashion trends.
  • Constantly propose newness to the company product line and prepare collections based on customer briefings
  • Liaise with internal departments such as merchandising, technical and sample room in order to obtain productive output
  • Prepare accurate and detailed design packs
  • Attend fittings to ensure product is on calendar
  • Network with off-shore vendors/factories/ Buyers
  • Understand about womenswear- light woven product trends request and update weekly reports/ development trackers for multiple seasons simultaneously to maintain accurate information that is used by cross-functional partners
  • Partner with team members to track, unpack samples and approvals throughout development process
  • Always demonstrate "do your do best" attitude

Qualifications

  • Degree / Certificate in Fashion Design
  • 4 - 6 years of prior experience in Ladies Wear - Light Wovens - Design & Development
  • Ability to multitask, work independently and take decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet work demands
  • Having a creative mindset and innovative design ideas
  • Proficiency in design software programs (Illustrator, Photoshop and MS Office Applications)
  • Knowledge about Clo 3d will be added advantage
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
