Company Description

Fortis Downtown Resort offers a variety of activities for families, including a swimming pool, jacuzzi, cycling for adults and kids, electric animal toys for kids, and kids' boating. Additionally, there is a camp, jumping area, kids' mini zip line, and a walking trail through nature. The resort features an on-site restaurant serving delicious food. Conveniently located just a 10-15 minute drive from the US embassy at Notunbazar, the resort is open 7 days a week from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive at Fortis Downtown Resort, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Executive will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality guest experiences, managing staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining the resort's facilities. The role also includes developing and implementing strategies to enhance services and drive guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and management skills, including experience in overseeing staff and operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and staff
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities to handle daily operations effectively
  • Problem-solving skills for addressing and resolving guest and operational issues
  • Background in hospitality or resort management is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in an on-site role in Dhaka, Bangladesh, working flexible hours including weekends
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
