Head of Treasury Division
Job Description / Responsibility
- Lead and manage overall treasury functions including money market, capital market, FX, and ALM
- Ensure effective liquidity management, funding strategy, and balance sheet optimization
- Manage investment portfolio in line with risk appetite, regulatory requirements, and profitability goals
- Oversee foreign exchange operations and ensure compliance with BB FX guidelines
- Ensure strict compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, internal policies, and risk management frameworks
- Coordinate with ALCO and senior management on interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and market risk matters
- Develop and implement treasury strategies aligned with the Bank's business objectives
- Supervise treasury MIS, reporting, and regulatory submissions
- Lead, mentor, and develop treasury team members
Educational Requirements
- Masters
- MBA /Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline preferred
Experience Requirements
- At least 20 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior treasury leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience in money market, foreign exchange, investments, and ALM
- Proven understanding of Bangladesh Bank treasury-related circulars and guidelines
- Strong leadership and strategic decision-making capability
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- High level of integrity, risk awareness, and regulatory compliance mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and manage market volatility
