Agent Banking Division
.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the expansion and management of the Agent Banking network in line with the Bank's strategic objectives.
  • Assist in agent selection, onboarding, documentation, and approval processes as per Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
  • Monitor day-to-day agent banking operations to ensure service quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Support deposit mobilization initiatives through agent outlets, including savings and other retail deposit products.
  • Assist in promoting agent banking products and services to enhance customer acquisition and usage.
  • Conduct regular agent visits, performance monitoring, and operational supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with Agent Banking Guidelines of Bangladesh Bank, AML/CFT requirements, and internal policies.
  • Review transaction reports, agent performance MIS, and exception reports.
  • Assist in agent training, awareness programs, and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Support resolution of agent-related operational issues, customer complaints, and service disruptions.
  • Coordinate with branches, Operations, IT, Compliance, and other relevant Head Office Divisions.
  • Assist during Bangladesh Bank inspections, internal audits, and regulatory reporting related to agent banking.
  • Uphold ethical standards, professional conduct, and effective business communication at all times.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • 4-years graduation preferably in Business Administration or related discipline from a reputed university with no third class/division or equivalent CGPA in the academic record. Having Postgraduate degree will be considered an added advantage.
  • Any relevant Professional Qualifications will be considered an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Banks

Additional Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of banking experience including at least 03 years experience in agent banking, branch banking, or retail banking operations will be preferred.
  • Basic understanding of agent banking operations and financial inclusion concepts.
