About The Role
As a
Commercial Finance Intern
at Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) PLC, you will support one of the most dynamic finance teams in the organization, contributing to strategic financial planning, audit readiness, and commercial decision-making. This role offers hands-on experience in revenue recognition, trade spend management, and variance analysis, while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency. It's an ideal opportunity for aspiring finance professionals to gain exposure to real-world challenges in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚:

• Final Year undergraduate/ postgraduate students 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.
• Majoring in Finance/ Accounting or any other relevant field.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Reckitt Bangladesh Head Office at Gulshan 1, Dhaka

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝: 3 Months

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬: 5 days (Sunday to Thursday)

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: 10 AM to 6 PM

Key responsibilities

• Assist in incorporating external auditor requirements, focusing on revenue recognition and trade spend management, including Reckitt Financial Control Framework.
• Provide data-driven analysis and insights to support commercial finance initiatives.
• Conduct variance analysis on financial performance metrics and identify key areas requiring corrective actions or strategic interventions.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial documentation and workflows to enhance accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with finance and commercial teams to ensure alignment between financial insights and business objectives.

The skills for success

Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting principles, Financial Analysis and Reporting.
