Job Description / Responsibility

Job Grade:

Job Location:

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and implementing the bank's Sustainable Finance Policy in compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
  • Monitor updates in sustainability regulations, industry best practices, and ESG reporting frameworks.
  • Evaluate green loan applications and assess the feasibility of sustainability-linked credit facilities.
  • Analyze project viability, environmental and social risks, and climate impact for financing renewable energy, waste management, eco-friendly manufacturing, and low-carbon infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Risk team to integrate ESG risk factors into loan underwriting and portfolio management.
  • Prepare sustainable finance reports for submission to Bangladesh Bank in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track and document green loan disbursements, impact metrics, and climate risk assessments.
  • Conduct post-financing impact assessments to measure the effectiveness of sustainable finance initiatives.
  • Assist in developing sustainability-linked financial products (e.g., Green Bonds, Sustainability-Linked Loans (SLLs), and Climate Resilience Loans).
  • Support Relationship Managers (RMs) and Credit Analysts by providing technical insights on ESG risks and sustainable investment opportunities.
  • Assist in organizing workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and industry events on sustainable finance.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • MBA/Master`s in any discipline from reputed University with no third division in academic records.
  • Candidates having professional degree/Certification in relative field will be given preference.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Banks

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 05 (Five) years working experience as analyst or relevant experience in a commercial Bank / Financial Institution.

Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:

  • Smart, Team player, paired with agile mindset and can-do attitude.
  • Good communication skill in Bangla and English.
  • Very good skills in MS Office.
