About the Role

Dekho ISHO Venture Capital (DIVC) is looking for a conceptually strong, creatively driven Marketing Manager to join our in-house agency-style marketing team. You will be responsible for overseeing the marketing efforts of half of our startup portfolio, leading the charge on strategy, creative ideation, and content development across a range of formats.

This is not a traditional managerial role. We are looking for someone who can think like a creative director and write like a seasoned copywriter who enjoys building brands from scratch, shaping narratives, and bringing bold ideas to life with the help of a skilled design team.

You will work alongside your own junior creative, and together you will develop everything from brand campaigns to social media reels, pitch decks, podcast scripts, and more. For high-impact campaigns, you will collaborate with the other Marketing Manager and their team in larger brainstorms that break silos and spark big thinking.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead creative strategy and content planning for a set of startups in the VC portfolio.
  • Conceptualize, write, and guide the execution of:

-Social media posts & reels

-Ad campaigns & launch concepts

-Brand storytelling and tone of voice

-Website copy, podcast & video scripts

-Decks, blogs, and more

  • Mentor and collaborate with a junior creative on your team
  • Work with our in-house design team to bring your ideas to life
  • Collaborate with the other Marketing Manager (and their team) for larger campaigns and brainstorms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • 5–7 years of experience in creative roles (agency or brand-side)
  • Strong English copywriting skills and a sharp eye for ideas that cut through
  • Proven experience conceptualizing campaigns and building brands
  • Confident in leading a creative process from strategy to execution
  • Comfortable managing timelines, assets, and priorities across multiple projects
  • Collaborative spirit with an entrepreneurial mindset

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in a startup or venture ecosystem
  • Comfortable with video ideation, scriptwriting, and digital storytelling
  • Previous mentorship or leadership experience in creative teams
