Job Description / Responsibility
- Formulate comprehensive business plans aimed at increasing market share in the cattle feed sector.
- Implement targeted strategies tailored to specific regions to drive demand for both dairy and meat cattle feeds.
- Allocate sales targets across the sales team and take proactive measures to ensure achievement.
- Identify growth opportunities across different territories and capitalize on them effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers to strengthen market presence.
- Track sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to maximize results.
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance on cattle feed products to the sales team, distributors, and customers to enhance product understanding.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries or concerns regarding product performance efficiently.
- Support product positioning in the market through technical insights, demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to ensure product quality meets industry standards.
- Continuously monitor market trends, sales performance, and ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
Educational Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 12 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
