Position Overview:
AYAT Education is seeking a motivated and skilled Assistant Manager, Business Development & Partnerships to strengthen its fundraising, donor engagement, and partnership-building efforts. The role will focus on developing high-quality communication materials, tracking funding opportunities, and building strategic partnerships with government, private sector, civil society, academia, and international development partners. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, communication, and networking skills, with a passion for social impact and resource mobilization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Resource Mobilization & Proposal Development

• Conduct donor mapping and track EOI/RFP/CFP opportunities from bilateral, multilateral, foundations, and corporate donors
• Lead and support the preparation of high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and budget narratives
• Develop fundraising campaigns to support scholarships and training opportunities for AYAT students

2. Communication & Content Development

• Prepare AYAT Education's Annual Report, newsletters, and project reports
• Design and develop communication materials, including organizational brochures, capacity statement documents, presentations, and donor engagement collateral
• Support the development of a coffee table book and impact stories showcasing AYAT Education's work

3. Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and nurture relationships with government agencies, NGOs, private sector companies, universities, and international development partners
• Support the negotiation and development of MOUs and strategic partnerships
• Represent AYAT Education at external meetings, events, and forums to enhance visibility and outreach

4. Strategic Support

• Support the development and implementation of AYAT Education's fundraising and partnership strategies
• Contribute to diversifying revenue streams and exploring innovative business models for sustainability
• Provide regular reporting on donor engagement, partnership pipelines, and fundraising outcomes

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Economics, International Relations, or a related field (Bachelor's with strong experience may be considered)
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, donor engagement, partnership management, or business development in NGOs, social enterprises, or development organizations
• Strong writing skills with proven experience in developing proposals, reports, and communication materials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Bangla and English
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results under deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and familiarity with CRM/fundraising software is an advantage
