Executive / Senior Executive - Sales

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Identify and onboard new customers for both Shipping Line services and Logistics/Freight Forwarding solutions.
  • Promote services such as Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Air Freight, Land Transportation, Warehousing, CFS, Customs Brokerage, NVOCC, and Supply Chain Solutions.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to BU-wise revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with importers, exporters, consolidators, and supply chain partners.
  • Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups to maximize customer retention and business volume.
  • Provide timely support to clients regarding rates, documentation, cargo status, and service requirements.
  • Coordinate with pricing, trade, and operations teams to prepare competitive quotations.
  • Monitor freight market trends, shipping line rate movements, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare RFQ responses, contract proposals, and business presentations for key clients.
  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline using CRM tools and submit weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Work closely with the operations, documentation, and accounts teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.
  • Ensure timely payment follow-up and enforce credit policies.
  • Analyze market demand, client buying patterns, and seasonal cargo fluctuations.
  • Identify new industry sectors and business opportunities for both BU lines.
  • Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • [North South University, University of Dhaka, East West University, BRAC University ]students will get preference

Experience Requirements

  • 1 to 4 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Shipping,Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies,Embassies/Foreign Consulate,Hotel,Airline,Travel Agent,Freight forwarding,Group of Companies,Transportation,Supply Chain

Additional Requirements

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and CRM software.
  • Good presentation and analytical skills.
