This role is responsible for managing the accounting operations of the Singapore and Dubai entities, including JV postings, reconciliations, and ensuring trial balance accuracy. In addition to accounting, the position supports business finance by conducting in-depth financial analysis, developing business trend reports, and preparing presentations that provide insights for strategic decision-making. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office, and NetSuite is required, with SQL knowledge considered an advantage.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage regular accounting and treasury activities for the Singapore and Dubai entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
  • Record, review, and reconcile JV postings, ensuring the trial balance remains accurate.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Conduct financial and business analysis in Excel, providing actionable management insights.
  • Develop and deliver business trend analysis presentations to support leadership in planning and decision-making.
  • Partner with business teams to analyze performance drivers, evaluate risks, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that improve operational and business outcomes.
  • Assist in audits, internal controls, and process improvements to strengthen financial governance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification, (CAACCA/CPA/CIMA is a plus).
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis, preferably in a multinational or regional setup.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable for data-driven financial insights.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, reporting, and business finance concepts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
