Role Description

Western Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a full-time, on-site Assistant Engineer for our Dhaka office. The role involves assisting in the design and execution of engineering projects, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. Responsibilities include supporting the preparation of technical reports, analyzing drawings and specifications, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders, and providing technical support throughout project lifecycles. The Assistant Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining project quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in project management tools, engineering design software, and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, quality standards, and technical regulations in engineering projects.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Educational background in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in hydraulic structures, road construction, or dredging projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in engineering projects is an added advantage.
