Assistant Manager, Business Development (Consumer Brands)

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, monitor competitor activities, and identify growth opportunities to strengthen market positioning.
  • Develop and implement demand strategies, sales forecasts, and SKU-wise planning based on historical data and market trends.
  • Prepare and present insight-driven reports using MIS, CRM, and sales data to support cross-functional and Sales & Operations Planning meetings.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of promotional campaigns aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Collaborate with sales and brand teams to set area-specific targets, track KPIs, and manage incentive programs.
  • Provide actionable business intelligence through customer segmentation, competitor analysis, and industry trend reporting.
  • Support product development and innovation initiatives by analyzing market, economic, and technological trends.
  • Enhance customer engagement and retention through effective CRM strategies and digital tools.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Contribute to digital transformation projects, such as mobile app development, to improve sales operations and brand engagement.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
  • Skills Required: Market Research, MS Power BI, Analytical Skill, MS Excel

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)
