Job Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Civil Engineering Diploma holders to join our team as Junior Civil Engineers. The role involves assisting in the day-to-day management of construction projects and ensuring smooth operations on-site.
Key responsibilities include:
Site Inspections: Visiting construction sites regularly to monitor work progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
Drafting and Design: Assisting senior engineers in preparing and reviewing engineering drawings and construction plans using AutoCAD and other software.
Material Testing and Selection: Helping in the selection of construction materials and performing basic tests to ensure quality.
Project Documentation: Preparing reports, maintaining daily logs, tracking progress, and assisting with project costing and budgeting.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring all construction work adheres to the required standards and local safety regulations.
Collaboration with Teams: Coordinating with contractors, architects, and project managers to address challenges and deliver successful project outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution in Bangladesh.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other construction design software.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and building codes in Bangladesh.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Effective communication skills in both Bengali and English.
Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work well in team-oriented environments.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Project Management Software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
Basic knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an advantage.
Prior internship or work experience in construction or engineering (though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
