Job Summary

The Junior Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the
construction and renovation of office, commercial space, factory and retail showrooms

across Bangladesh. The role involves ensuring work is executed according to
approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

This position plays a key role in supporting the company's expansion plan by assisting in the opening of new retail showrooms and upgrading existing outlets to maintain a modern, efficient, and customer-friendly retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day construction and renovation activities at sites.
  • Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and company standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure smooth execution of work.
  • Monitor project schedules and assist in ensuring timely completion of site activities.
  • Ensure proper implementation of safety guidelines and site safety practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and workmanship standards.
  • Assist in material planning, verification, and on-site inventory control.
  • Identify site issues, construction challenges, and report them to the Project Engineer/Manager with possible solutions.
  • Support measurement, site documentation, daily progress reports, and work completion records.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and operations teams during construction and renovation phases.
  • Ensure minimal disruption during renovation of operational retail showrooms.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • 1–2 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in retail, commercial, or interior fit-out projects.
  • Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials and finishes used in retail environments.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and site management practices.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and layouts.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong site coordination and communication skills.
  • Project scheduling and reporting skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites.
  • Willingness and able to travel and work at project sites across Bangladesh.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Auto Cad.
