Team Lead - Business Development

Job Description / Responsibility

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:

is looking for a dynamic and result-driven Lead E-commerce Business Development Team to drive seller acquisition, merchant growth, content strategy, and product-market expansion.

This leadership role is ideal for someone who understands modern e-commerce ecosystems, can lead a business development team, and can convert market insights into scalable growth strategies. The role directly contributes to expanding retailer network, improving seller performance, and strengthening the platform's competitive position. is a sister concern of JS Enterprise, operating under the same business group.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

  • Lead and manage the Business Development team, Customer Relation team to onboard retailers, wholesalers, and brands onto
  • Develop and execute seller acquisition strategies following Country e-commerce best practices
  • Develop engaging marketing content for digital and offline platforms (e.g., product descriptions, social media posts, sales decks, blog articles)
  • Identify new market opportunities, product categories, and growth channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key merchants and partners
  • Work closely with design and marketing teams to execute creative campaigns
  • Develop in storytelling that supports brand identity and messaging
  • Set KPIs, targets, and performance metrics for the team
  • Train, mentor, and guide team members to improve productivity and conversion rates
  • Monitor daily activities, field performance, and reporting accuracy
  • Coordinate closely with operations, marketing, and tech teams
  • Oversee creation of seller-facing and customer-facing content (product listings, banners, campaigns)
  • Collaborate with marketing to design promotional campaigns, discounts, and seasonal sales
  • Support storytelling and brand messaging aligned with value proposition
  • Analyze market trends, competitor platforms, pricing, and seller behavior
  • Track seller performance, campaign ROI, onboarding funnel, and retention metrics
  • Collect merchant and customer feedback to support product and feature development
  • Assist in testing, validation, and rollout of new platform features

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Reputed Public or Privet University

Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG),Advertising Agency, Development Agency, E-commerce

Additional Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in E-commerce, Business Development, Marketplace Operations, or Digital Commerce (Fresher are encourage to apply)
  • Basic understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.)
