Currently, we are bidding for Bangladesh Railways projects across India. The position of Signalling and Telecommunications Lead Specialist is the key position in these BIDs.
Missions/Main Duties- Report to the Chief Resident Engineer (Railway System);
- Manage and supervise all Specialist staff related to the Signalling and Telecommunications, PAS and PIS;
- Be responsible for supervising the design, installation, commissioning and testing of the signalling and telecommunications system, including the train operation control system;
- Review and check the Contractor(s)' design of the train control system, including the signalling and telecommunications system of the entire project, in accordance with the Employer's Requirements;
- Supervise the installation's progress, conduct inspections for quality, quantity, and safety, and check the maintainability of the system, facilities, and equipment;
- Assist the Client in testing and commissioning on completion of thetrain control system;
- Assist Interface Management Lead Specialist in interface management issues;
- Assist in resolving actual and potential claims from the Contractor(s) during the manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning stages;
- Assist in System integration for the Railway System and Any other jobs the Chief Resident Engineer (Railway System) assigns.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 15 years of professional experience
- Must have proficiency in English
- 10 years of professional experience in signalling and telecommunications, including one large-scale (preferably >USD 0.5 billion) underground/ elevatedmetro rail project
- 2 years of work experience in outside Expert's country
